Getting CMMI certification in India means implementing the CMMI process areas and passing an official Benchmark Appraisal led by a certified Lead Appraiser. Here are the steps.

The CMMI path

You start with a gap assessment against your target maturity level, implement the relevant process areas, train and institutionalise the processes, run a readiness review, and then complete the Benchmark Appraisal that awards your CMMI maturity level.

Who runs the appraisal

Only a certified CMMI Lead Appraiser can lead a Benchmark Appraisal. Univate has an in-house Lead Appraiser and is a CMMI Institute partner.
